Packing mah stuff!

So today I packed 1½ bags of my stuff. I'm going to bring 3 bags to the airport, which is 1 more than when I came here. I'm actually kind of scared because Cathy tells me that I might have to bring a fourth...

But yeah. My room is pretty empty and my closet only contains clothes for the rest of the 4-5 days I'll be here. I can't believe that it's almost over. It seems like just a couple months ago that I came here!

So yeah, I can't wait to get home! Meet my new family and stuff is going to be fun! Catching up, because I'm sure that there is more than just my adventures to share!

Last day of school!

Yesterday was the last day of school! I realized that I actually only had 2 written finals out of the 6 subjects I have in school. I only took the History and Math tests. So I am toooootally fine with that! last day of school I helped miss Meyer clean up her room. Actually clear out her room is a better word to use. It was her last day of school since she is resigning.

 I gave a Ms. Nelson one of my paintings, you can read more about it at "mine værker".

So Friday I didn't do much. Aaron and Meghan came and we hung out for about 2 hours or so. Tomorrow we are going to take out the boat again, so that should be fun :)

I will probably not have time this weekend, but I will probably be up early this next week, so that might be an opportunity to skype me? No? Just message me and we'll see if I have time!

Award

So today I took 3 of my 5 finals. I think it went well. Though I didn't answer about four or five questions in the us. history final I am still proud because I knew many of the others. Study/cramming before a test actually works! I could actually answer stuff about WW2 and the presidents! :O

And so I went to the office today to get my honor roll award that I was telling you about. I'm gonna get it signed tomorrow and then it's official!

So there has been a lot of bipolar weather recently, I wonder what I should wear tomorrow for school...

Day before finals!

So today was really nice. It was really relaxed and nothing much was going on but reviewing stuff for finals. Expect of course my art classes (there is not much to review) so the 3 classes I had art in + my lunch break was dedicated to being outside (in 30-35 Celsius!) eating and hanging out.

There was a LOT of food! So much that not everything was eaten. Ms. Meyer (who was in charge of this outside BBQ arrangement) made crepes and they were awesome. By the time my first class was over I was full! I also had to be there 2 other classes and lunch! Needles to say I am stuffed. I probably won't be needing dinner!

Aaron was so nice to stay at school today for me! He had to go to school anyway for some graduation stuff, and even though he was tired he still stayed :) You can see him resting on my legs in the picture above. Many of the students were lazy in the heat. It was nice by the first part of the day, but after 2pm it was starting to become a little unbearable... 

So yeah. Lunch was the "go-away" party for the exchange students at the school. It was arranged in honor for us and to say goodbye, even though we are still taking the finals. It was nice to be together with friends and just hang out. 

So I think I'm gonna end it here now. You can always ask me later! There is less than 2 weeks till I'll be home!

By the way, I found more pictures of myself from prom. Me and Aaron and some pictures of the group I went with. Maybe I'll post a picture or two later ;)

Academy Awards

So tomorrow (or today for you, since you'll be reading this a day later?) there is Academy Awards at the school, and the whole school is going to be there!
But not everyone got nice invitations in the mail like the one I showed you last time, and it means something special. An invitation in the form of a letter means that...
You will be receiving an award.
Yup. I will on May 16th be receiving an Academy Award! Though I don't know what award yet I know that I'll get one.

So that was just my little surprise for y'all! Nothing much going on aside from aaaaall my finals slowly creeping up on me. Wish me luck!

Partaaay!

Not maybe the party you think, but Cathy is having a jewelry party where you can buy jewelry (surprise!).
There's  a bunch of people coming over, I know a few of them so it should be really nice :)

Today I had my 3 hours worth of practice. 1 hour kickboxing and 2 hours of karate! It was hard, especially because I didn't really eat a good breakfast.

We had election week! That means a bunch of free stuff, like candy, cookies and icicles! But I only accepted stuff from the girl I was going to vote on ^^ It looks like it will be her and another boy that is most competition with. I honestly don't know which one is going to win...

Oh well, something exciting should happen next week, so be sure to stay tuned for that :D

Just updating

I can't believe that there is so little time left!!!!

I'm baking cupcakes right now for my LAST BAKESALE at the school! I'm working on my FINAL projects. Finals are soon and everything is just coming to an end! The only good thing about all of this is the cupcakes I'm baking and that I'm going to see all my friends and family soon.
(cupcakes just got done, they look awesome btw)

I'm invited to a sleepover on the 19th and there might be a movie included so I'm excited about that :) It's with one of my friends Autumn and then the other 3 exchange students from Germany; Clara, Sophie and Michelle :) I'm really looking forward to it!

It's also president week at school so on Friday we will vote for a new Student council president, I know who I'm voting for and I really hope she wins because she deserves it!!!

Well, I can't neglect my cupcakes so I will say goodbye now.

1 Month left!

People! I've just come to realize that I have 1 month left in Colorado! As much as I would like to stay I have realized that I miss you guys! :O
Ok, maybe I havn't just realized that, but the point I'm trying to make is that I miss you!

This weekend I was up in the mountains in a town called Estes Park. It was really fun and I did a loooot of shopping. Unfortunately my camera died on me, so I have no cool pictures to show :( I took some pictures with Cathy's camera, but it'll probably take some time to transfer them :/
I do have some good news though! Not really news though, more like a surprise?
I found my prom picture online! Not the pictures you saw on Facebook but from the actual photographer that was at our prom!

Nice! So yeah that was it. And if you remember about our spring fest at the school and the stuff I bid on then I have some good news too! I won both of my biddings and returned home with art supplies and not only 1 yearbook, but 2 of them! I basically got last years yearbook and this years for only $15 when this years yearbook was $50!!!
That's a good deal, I'm telling ya'll!
