Spring fest

Yesterday I went to the schools Spring fest! It is basically an auction for a lot of donated stuff. I actually bid on something myself and it would be awesome to win something. I don't know yet if I've won anything but I'll probably know by Monday when I get back to school.
After the Spring fest me, Aaron, Meghan and Brandyn went to karaoke, we had a lot of fun and I actually sang a song this time! We all did the song "1985" and me and Meghan did "Lucky".

All in all my Saturday was awesome. Sunday (today) will be dedicated to cleaning and cooking, because Cathy is in Nevada until Saturday so she is not here to do anything! :O

By the way, me and Meghan bought cake pops at the Spring fest. It was an auction so there were other people bidding on it. Let's just say that we could have made more cake pops with the money we used to buy them...

Painting!

Okay so recently I have been working on a big painting. The painting is going to be part of a play at our school. The play is going to be by our drama club and it's going to be Romeo and Juliet.
I will probably take a picture of the painting because so far I really like it :) I am also going to take some pictures of the set. That is on the actual stage and I really can't wait to paint it! I have a partner in crime on this project and I'm happy that it's the same one that I worked on the art-show with.

Tomorrow I'm going to kickboxing practice from 9-10, then karate practice from 10-11 and then an extra hour from 11-12. Wow, that's going to be the most work out I've ever done...
Meghan is going with me to kickboxing and Chris too. Chris (sorry for all the explaining but I never know if you remember the people I mention here twice) is from the church that I went to with Martha. It turns out that he knew Meghan, Alex and Aaron before he even knew me... The world have become so small lately.
Any way... Wait... There is no any way. I'm done. Wow...

Vegas pictures!

What you've all been waiting for! Pictures from my trip to Vegas!
Warning: We didn't go out much, so some of the pictures are of the same places!

This is our room 5 minutes after we checked in... Let's just say that 4 girls have a hard time keeping a hotel room clean.

The view from our balcony. Not bad, it was even more beautiful at night when you could see all the lights.

Caesar's Palace is the biggest hotel I've seen in my life. It was also very expensive, but luckily we didn't stay there. Room service and breakfast at our own hotel was also expensive: $6 for a bowl of cereal...

Terrel or Changito (that in spanish means monkey - figures...). He had an unbelievable amount of energy during this trip!

Our last hours in Vegas. We payed 20 extra bucks for a limo (because hey, why not?) to the bus station. We had a good time in Vegas and even though only me and Katy won our first battle I still think that our mood was very good.

Prom night!

Okay so I guess that there would be a few questions about prom right?

I'm already in my dress, which you won't see before pictures come! I'm pretty much just waiting for Aaron to pick me up. We are going out with a bunch of other students from the school. As far as I know most of them are seniors, can't complain about that. I like most of the seniors at our school (there is about 25 of them...).

The theme for prom is Fire and Ice and it will be held at The Armory. I showed you some pictures from it from some of the very first days I came here to America. I also told you about Sean who was "in charge" of the place. It would be kind of cool if I could see him again. I haven't seen him in about 6 months I think. I don't think he'll remember me though... Oh well. No reason to be sad about that.

So yeah. The whole thing starts at 8 and we are leaving at about 6 to go out to eat. We're eating at the "Spaghetti Factory". Figures.

So that's all for now. You'll probably see some pictures of me on Facebook in my dress if Alex uploads it - which she probably will if I know her right!

Art show!

So the school had their art show today! And of course I was there :)
 The theme was "A Geisha's Dream" which was a mix between Japanese geishas and A Midsummer's Nights Dream (the Shakespeare play). The whole thing was pretty cool, we had a harp player come and play music and there was a ton of art. I'm just glad that I got to go this time since I couldn't last art show :/

I didn't have much art up, actually only two pieces, but I got many compliments for them :)

So prom is tomorrow! Of course you are all more excited than me, I can feel it :P I got a nice dress and shoes to go with it. My dress (since prom is usually long dresses...) is long in the back and shorter in the front. It's hard to explain but it looks gorgeous :)

I will upload some pictures of my Vegas trip soon. Maybe this weekend... Or actually, no maybe I have to upload them soon anyway :P

April fools daaay!

I'm too lazy to make up a joke for April fools so I'll just post some pictures here from my trip to Texas.
Just a quick sum up: We went to the Alamo (stepfather get's excited!) and we went to SeaWorld to pet the dolphins (dad get's excited!) and we went on a riwerwalk (which is not walking on the river but next to the river).
